It’s September and it’s Yoda and Tessa’s birthday month so we decided to bring them for a short 2D1N staycation at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. Took up the Pampered Paws package offered by the resort and I am glad we go ahead with it because it comes with a one-night stay at the exquisite colonial-style Courtyard Suite for two adults and one dog (but we got the clearance to bring along another), buffet breakfast (which we opted for in-room dining), and Complimentary Fur Kid Welcome Pack for one dog (but lucky us because the two dogs are not aware that there's only one).
Thank God that it only rained early in the morning and stopped when we are about to set off to Sentosa. Went to collect the birthday cake for the doggies at Wholesome Paws before we head to Vivo City to grab some food over to the resort.
We arrived at the resort just in time to check-in based on the time allocated to us. I am so stunned by the line of people waiting in line but lucky we are asked to proceed to the priority queue to check-in since my mum could not stand for long.
Got the key cards to our resort and time for some of us to hop on the buggy ride while me and my wife took the stairs up to the room which was just 5 minutes away. Really got to appreciate walking the stairs because I hardly exercise ever since I started working from home since the start of Circuit Breaker and even so during Phase 2 re-opening.
So happy that Yoda and Tessa are enjoying themselves here at the resort by running around the room. I must say the garden at the back of the courtyard is the best because the doggies get to run around there at ease.
Spent the afternoon with the doggies by letting them swim in the Jacuzzi with us and letting them take turns to be on the float that we got for them haha. I would rate a 6 out of 10 for the Jacuzzi experience given that the strength of the Jacuzzi is way too weak and I could hardly feel the water beating on my back. But hey, at least the two doggies get to enjoy themselves today.
Time passes really fast when you are enjoying yourself and it's nightfall before you even notices. Time for Tessa and Yoda to celebrate their birthday and enjoy their dino birthday cake.
