2020 is finally coming to an end and although Covid-19 hit SG this year and it affected most of our lives, i’m glad our wedding went really well for both SG and Malaysia side and we have our family and friends with us. Plus we got to go for our honeymoon at Australia where we flew to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Furthermore, we got the keys to our new home and started our renovation. Hope 2021 will bring more happiness for everyone. Stay safe and have a blast.
Electricians are coming over to fix up the rest of the lights for our home :) So happy because this means that we can head over at night and not just the day time anymore haha.
Hooray today's the third round of carpentry where they will be fixing up the carpentry for the bathroom and drawers for the kitchen area.
So happy to see that the carpentry at the shoe cabinet area are up and the kitchen area storage are all up too.
The second round of carpentry is going to be fixed up for our home today. And needless to say, we went down to take a look again to see what the carpenters are going to fix up today. So happy to see the cupboard and drawers at the kitchen area are partially up. Really love the carpentry work that was done for the shoe rack area.
So happy that the wifey is finally going to purchase the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer today. So happy because wifey can blow dry her hair really fast next time once we move in to our new home. Love the all black hair dryer :)
Wooo hoooo the wait is finally over because part of the carpentry work is going up today. We are always so excited that we went down to take a peek after our work to see how our home turn out after the carpentry is up.
Yeah, our home is going through the first round of washing today and finally we get to see the original floor tiles again since the tiles are being covered up to protect the tiles during the renovation work.
Wooooo the glass panel and bi-fold door at the service yard and common bathroom door and are being installed today. We are so happy that it turned out really nice and I am so happy that we decided to remove the lourved window at the service yard area and change the original bi-fold door.
Yeah finally the master bathroom louvred door is getting fixed up today. Can't wait to see the completed piece once we have the door painted black and a double coat of paint is up :) Initially we wanted to put up a barn door because i really love the design but too bad we can't because of the aircon trunking and the position of the aircon. So here we are with our wooden louvred door. We opted for wood instead of aluminium because we wanted a aesthetic appeal to our master room by integrating a bit of nature in our home. We felt that aluminium would make the door really light and it would be the same material that HDB gave us which we dislike because the door seems to swing really fast when we just open the door lightly.
