Day 24-25 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

We are so happy to see that the lights for our home are 80% installed and now what's left are just the carpentry. Two ceiling fans are also being installed in bedroom 1 and 2. Can't wait for the fan at the living area to be up soon.

For someone who enjoys doing laundry, I would definitely want the right tool for the job because to be honest, “You're only as good as the tools you use”, so choosing the correct tool will definitely decrease the amount of effort required to get a job done right. So, if you don't already know, Steigen Singapore is a company that produces laundry racks that improves the lives of consumers through technology. To be honest, I would go for no other brands other than Steigen because of the sleek design of its laundry racks, and the functions that comes with it. 

I am so glad we visited Steigen showroom because it blew me away right away when I saw Steigen's latest Solar Alpha model. Initially we only wanted to go for the Solar Ultra model but hey once you caught eye on the Solar Alpha, you would want to get it home right away. The latest Solar Alpha model comes with improved features such as 60°C solar heaters, inbuilt ioniser and dust mite repeller (which is also available with the Solar Ultra model), and it could support up to 50kg of laundry plus it comes with built-in clothes clips as well. 

So, needless to say, we went ahead and purchase Solar Alpha model and we got it at a discount under the Northshore Residences Groupbuy promotion :)

Day 18 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

The painters are so efficient that they actually finish painting the first layer of paint for our whole house. Love the colors that we have chosen because it's not too dark even though we go for Smoke Gray (2045) and Gray Glove (1991) for our master room, Ash Grey (5037) for our living room, and Intimate White (1007) for bedrooms 1 & 2. 

Day 17 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

I think the renovation for our home is really progressing fast as the painters are coming down to lay the protection before they start painting the first layer of paint for our home today after we decided on the colors yesterday. Can't wait to see how it all turns out :)

 

Day 15 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

There's no renovation done today but we are meeting up at our home to discuss about the carpentry works that we wanted to do for our home such as my Lego room, our kitchen storage, the tv console area, the bedrooms, etc. There's really alot to think and consider when it comes to renovation.

Day 14 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

Finally the overlaying of tiles and installation of bathtub for master bathroom and common bathroom is completed. So happy to see how our bathrooms turns out after the tiles are up. Really love the tiles that we gotten from Hafary because they are so beautiful and their showrooms at Balestier and Eunos are so big and they have a wide selection of tiles too.

 

Day 12 - 13 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

We finally fixed the appointment for City Gas to drop by our home to install the pipes for our cooker. So happy to see the pipings are all done :)

Not only that, our storage heater for our two bathrooms are also installed over the weekends too. Chose to go for the storage heater instead because we are using rainshower and bathtub so I would want to have a decent water pressure since the water are ready 24/7 and we just got to wait for the water to be at the right temperature next time :)

So excited to see that the bathtub are installed in our master bathroom and the tiler is fixing up the tiles over it. It would look so beautiful once the gaps between the tiles are filled and the bathrooms are cleaned.

Day 9-10 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

Wifey came with me to check on the progress of the renovation for our future home today. So happy to see that the false ceiling is completely fixed up and I really could not tell the difference if I did not take photos of our home regularly. I am so happy that the aircon trunking are all covered up now for the living room area and the respective rooms :)

 

 

 There's some progress to our kitchen area too. 

 

Yeah, the overlay for our bathroom are almost completed too and now we just got to wait for the cement to dry up before they could fill the gaps between the tiles and for the plumber to install the bathtub before they could continue to lay the surroundings of the bathtub. Really can't wait to see the completed work :)
