Sparks Day 2016

It's Sparks Day today ^_^

Finally the week is coming to an end soon and we are having our department's sparks day (team bonding) today. Unlike the previous year, we're heading up North to Johor Bahru for our Sparks Day. This is our Company's last ever Sparks Day as it is cancelled with effect when the management decided it is a high cost event. Lucky us since we got the approval from our previous CEO Lance Tay.

Lalala we're having Bee Hoon for our breakfast as we go through the first part of our Sparks Day which is meeting after meeting. Finally we can set off to Bugis to take the taxis over to Malaysia but who would have expected it to rain; and furthermore it's such a heavy downpour. Luckily the taxi driver is kind enough to walk over with lots of umbrellas for us to walk over from the MRT. 

Hehehe so many Pokemons for me to catch along the way before we cross over the causeway. Caught so many Pokemons that was not in my Pokedex too :)

First Stop: The Best Chicken Chop in Town @ IT Roo Cafe

Thanks to Rex for bringing us here to try out the chicken chop at IT Roo Cafe. The chicken chop is pretty not bad and the portion is really big enough for two pax. Yummy yummy value for money chicken chop.

And so after the delightful lunch, and just as we are about to set off the sky decided to rain on us. With no choice, we had to book a cab thru Grab to get us from here to City Square for our second activity of the day before the rain water flooded the whole area around us. 

Second Stop: Laser Battle @ City Square

Lalala who could have thought it would be so fun running around chasing after everyone in the dimly lighted room with our laser gun. So fun but it's really tiring if you've not been exercising like me, because you'll be squatting down to catch your breath in no time. Love the excitement, especially the second round of the game when the lights are totally switched off. Ready, Run, Fire!!! 

Yeah, second place for the first round and our Blue Team is leading.

Yeah!! Distribution Compliance Team is the winner. Cheers to Blue Team ^_^

And so time for the third stop of the day where some of us are heading for our massage, some for haircut and some for mani and pedicure ^_^ Decided to go for a well deserved massage with Rex, Sharan and Donna before meeting up with the rest of the crew. It's still a love hate relationship for me with regards to massage since I can't stand the itchiness but yet I love when they massage my shoulders and lower back. 

Time for dinner before heading back to Singapore. Time to rest...
