Day 15 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

There's no renovation done today but we are meeting up at our home to discuss about the carpentry works that we wanted to do for our home such as my Lego room, our kitchen storage, the tv console area, the bedrooms, etc. There's really alot to think and consider when it comes to renovation.

Day 14 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

Finally the overlaying of tiles and installation of bathtub for master bathroom and common bathroom is completed. So happy to see how our bathrooms turns out after the tiles are up. Really love the tiles that we gotten from Hafary because they are so beautiful and their showrooms at Balestier and Eunos are so big and they have a wide selection of tiles too.

 

Day 12 - 13 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

We finally fixed the appointment for City Gas to drop by our home to install the pipes for our cooker. So happy to see the pipings are all done :)

Not only that, our storage heater for our two bathrooms are also installed over the weekends too. Chose to go for the storage heater instead because we are using rainshower and bathtub so I would want to have a decent water pressure since the water are ready 24/7 and we just got to wait for the water to be at the right temperature next time :)

So excited to see that the bathtub are installed in our master bathroom and the tiler is fixing up the tiles over it. It would look so beautiful once the gaps between the tiles are filled and the bathrooms are cleaned.

Day 9-10 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

Wifey came with me to check on the progress of the renovation for our future home today. So happy to see that the false ceiling is completely fixed up and I really could not tell the difference if I did not take photos of our home regularly. I am so happy that the aircon trunking are all covered up now for the living room area and the respective rooms :)

 

 

 There's some progress to our kitchen area too. 

 

Yeah, the overlay for our bathroom are almost completed too and now we just got to wait for the cement to dry up before they could fill the gaps between the tiles and for the plumber to install the bathtub before they could continue to lay the surroundings of the bathtub. Really can't wait to see the completed work :)

Day 7-8 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

The renovation to our home is progressing pretty fast as the contractors are coming over to do the tiling for the two bathrooms on day 7 since we started the renovation. We are overlaying tiles on our existing bathroom walls and floor using our preferred tiles that we have chose previously. Can't wait to see how it all turns out for our bathroom with the bathtub and all :)

So happy to see the contractors started working on the installation of the false ceiling for our living room area and also the various rooms to hide the aircon trunking that really look out of place. Now we just got to wait until the time where the lights are installed and we would be able to see the fruits of our renovation :) 

Day 5-6 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

We are coming to the second week of the renovation done on our home and the electricians are coming to run the electrical points for the living room and all the bedrooms around the house. I can't wait for the lights to be up few weeks down the road :)

That's all for the renovation done for the past 2 days. Can't wait for them to start work on the bathroom.

Day 3 of Renovation @ Northshore Residences

Well, there's no renovation done for our home today but we have Mr Ho from FC Family Curtain Enterprise coming over to take the measurements for the curtains and blinds that we are going to do for all our rooms. 

Easy peasy process as Mr Ho was in the business for more than 10 years so the entire measurement taking and selection of materials and colors was really quick :) Can't wait for the curtains and blinds to be up. 

Look at how fast our green beans have sprouted this week lalala. Took a picture of it against the tiles that we have chosen for our bathrooms.
