SG51 National Day Parade 2016

Happy 51st Birthday Singapore
SG51

Can you believe it, it's been a year since we celebrate a milestone in Singapore's history which is last year. I think SG50 has got to be the most memorable and sad NDP of all since it was the year when we witness the passing of our founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Let's hope for Singapore to be strong and safe from any terrorist related attacks.

Meet up with Zi Ying at Somerset313 for lunch at 海底捞火锅 to celebrate her birthday. Nice nice steamboat, it's been awhile since we ate something nice other than our usual 麻辣香锅 and Jollibee fried chicken lo haha. Yummy yummy lunch.

Walk around town before meeting up with Serene too. Went to Robinson to walk around and check out all the sales going on in the departmental store which are so attractive lor but I cannot buy liao so many Lego already T.T

Went over to Kallang Wave Mall for a walk and had some light dinner before checking out the NDP fireworks happening at 8pm+. There were already so many people there when we got there and everyone is "parking" for a good spot hours before the fireworks.

And so after the amazing fireworks we decided to head elsewhere for a drink but as expected the entrance leading to the MRT are always so crowded and disorganized. We even thought of using Grab car, Uber all these but too bad the taxis seems not able to drive in to the roundabout near the stadium despite the SPF officers telling us that the roads leading into here were not block anymore.

With no choice we ended up queuing up again for the entrance to the Stadium MRT (-_-) Took the train to head over to Five at Raffles Place for a drink but then it was closed. Can't believe the info on their Facebook page stating that it is open was a misleading info T.T With no choice we walk to Boat Quay to check out the other pubs and decided to settled down at RedDot for a drink.

With the crazy tons of sh*t happening at work recently, I'm so happy that I can finally chillax. Who cares if it's a work day tomorrow man, time to relax and chill. Work hard, play hard :)
